DEMAND MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP FOR LINE FUNCTIONARIES (MFMA)
Background:
This workshop was specifically developed to train Municipal line managers and end users who during the course of their daily work engage in activities that requires the procurement of goods and services.
This is a practical workshop for non-SCM practitioners as well as SCM practitioners equipping them with knowledge of pre-procurement analyses and an understanding of the SCM environment dictated by legislation and policy prescripts.
Accreditation:
This three-day workshop is not accredited by any unit standard and is specially developed to train functionaries who, due to time restraints, are unable to attend an accredited course.
A certificate of attendance will be issued to delegates that attend this workshop.
Purpose of this workshop:
The purpose of this course is to equip municipal officials with the necessary skills and knowledge to link the IDP goals and objectives to SCM activities and to ensure that the best outcome can be achieved when goods and services must be procured.
